Yes! Your students can make things to make math come alive.
Building math from cardboard robots, slime, paintings, and birdhouses, re-engage kids in mathematics content in ways that make math a lens for making sense of the world, and help them find their voice and agency in math class.
Make Math REAL helps create a safe community with lots of student discourse and discovery. Maker Learning Cycles are designed to support all students—and especially English learners—to develop their math identities and grow their classroom leadership.
